

Personal Training
Sessions are 1 hour in length. Each Personal Training session is structured or focused around a single or mix of disciplines such as Studio Pilates, Gyrotonic, Mat Pilates, Yoga, Myo-Fascial Manipulation, Functional Rehabilitation or Functional Sports Performance; depending on the client’s needs and individual goals.
However all sessions are based or modeled on the belief in the interdependent relationship between 'Structure' & 'Function' - that is, the structure of your body will influence how it or components of the body move but the way your body moves will have considerable effect on it's structure. This duality is addressed through the above disciplines and 'hands on' manipulative techniques incorporated into the exercises.

Personal Training sessions are a great introduction to the classes at Bodyworks - in fact we offer an initial reduced fee session for all persons who wish to participate in the Reformer classes. This is actually an essential introduction which not only teaches the basic principles and exercises for the Reformer but also movement patterning and awareness to specific issues the individual may have.
